Rental Safety Session 2026: Crime & Safety Workshop for Housing Providers
March 24, 2026 • 11:00am – 2:00pm
RHSK Provincial Office — 1705 McKercher Drive, Saskatoon
One of RHSK’s most popular annual events is back—and you won’t want to miss it.
Saskatchewan’s housing providers face an evolving landscape of challenges, especially when it comes to crime, safety, drug activity, and high‑conflict situations. This year’s workshop brings you face-to-face with experts from the Saskatoon Police Service who will provide practical guidance to help you stay safe, stay informed, and respond effectively in difficult situations.
DRUGS: 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM
Hear directly from a uniformed member of the Saskatoon Police Service on the drugs currently found in Saskatoon and across the province. Learn what to watch for in your properties, how to respond when drug activity is suspected, and what steps housing providers can take to support safer communities.
Lunch: 12:15 PM
Enjoy a catered lunch with fellow housing providers, managers, and building operators.
CRIME & SAFETY: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
The afternoon session focuses on crime prevention and practical safety strategies for rental housing professionals. In partnership with SPS, this presentation explores building safety, gang prevention, risk awareness, and precautions every property manager should have in place.
